Chicken tenders made with macadamia nuts

Macadamia Crusted Chicken Tenders

A healthy, crunchy twist on a classic favourite, these macadamia-crusted chicken tenders are perfect for a weeknight meal or a family gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup crushed Roasted & Salted Macadamia Nuts
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Red Rock Macadamias 100% Australian Premium Macadamia Nut Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crushed Roasted & Salted Macadamia Nuts, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip chicken tenders in beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the macadamia mixture.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a little Macadamia Nut Oil.
  4. Fry chicken tenders for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
